Fata 'el Moustache' Morgana!

They are Amsterdam's best band. Their style or genre of music can be described as 'Something For Everybody'. Disco, hard rock, funk, Europop, they do it all - often within the one song. The band is comprised of five young men. One can often hear girls at their shows asking, "Who's your favourite?" Furthermore, Stephane the singer sings in English, Dutch, German and French - ensuring trans-national appeal.

Since forming in 2004, they've played venues such as the Paradiso, Frascati, Het Rozentheater and Bitterzoet, as well as at events like Club Oostpol and the 2006 'Amsterdammer van het jaar' gala in de Stadsschouwburg. Over the last twelve months they've been gigging more regular, and outside of Amsterdam, growing into a muscular, air-punching, axe-chopping live act. Whether it's a sleazy club or arthouse venue, the boys from ‘el Moustache’ do their thing and rock it hard.

Since March 2009, the band have been hosting Soiree Poiree - a tri-monthly club night at Pakhuis Wilhemina, Amsterdam. It's a beacon of happiness, fun and dancing in Amsterdam, and a feelgood fixture in any Amsterdam music lover's agenda - with great new bands like Lola Kite, The Secret Love Parade, We Love People in Bearsuits and the NewYX, playing alongside the boys.

The band's first release was a self-titled 6-track EP, which came out in 2008. From the brooding, ghoulish Mooie Mannen to hi-NRG dance of Yeah Girl! it encapsulated the band's many sounds and styles.

It also included their song Pindakaas, which is a live-favourite and a sort of anthem for 21st Century Holland. EP 2008 - LISTEN:

In February 2010 they released a brand new EP - with a launch-party at the Paradiso - recorded and produced by Ben Mendes on vintage analogue gear. Louder, faster, brighter and more, much more, danceable, it's 15 minutes of everything that's great about this band right now. EP 2010 - LISTEN:
